Finishing Touches

Today has been somewhat productive for me. I have stacks of project bins, the 12 x 12 size, up against the wall and every one of them is stuffed full. I decided to choose a box that has the blocks already made and are ready to be made into a quilt top. Almost finished with the first one and my goal over the weekend and before Thanksgiving is to get as many tops made as possible. Some of them are already tops but need outside borders or a little tweaking. Not sure how many there are but all the strips for borders and sashings are already cut, I just need to sew them together. Most of them will be charity quilts for our local Children’s Hospital. Every year I make charity quilts and give them in my family’s name. Well, back to sewing. Will post pictures later.

One top down, so many more to go! This is done in 30s fabric and will be going to Valley Children’s Hospital. I hope to get it quilted next week. Sorry, my picture taking is lousy!
