Hello and Welcome back!
This is the 11th block in the Oh, My Stars series and is called Friendship Star. I really like this block as it is simple yet pretty in its own way. It can be found at Quilters Cache at: http://www.quilterscache.com/F/FriendshipStarBlock.html. Just remember that the blocks will be 6.5 inches squared. Since the pattern is the same you can use their pattern, but make sure that you cut the fabric with the following sizes.
Here are the colors I chose. I went with three colors:
For light color, you will need eight 2.5 inch squares for the corners. You will also need to cut four 2 7/8 inch squares cut into half for a total of 8 triangles. You will be making 2 blocks.
For the center block, you will need two 2.5 inch squares.
For the dark color, you will need eight 2 7/8 inch squares cut into half for a total of 8 triangles.
Here is the block laid out before sewing:
The block finished.
Thank you for playing along! The next block will be up next Sunday.
